How does an organization turn a nearly extinct chapter into a thriving one in a matter of a few years? The student affiliates at Truman State University seem to have successfully completed the transition. We have worked to increase the strength of our organization and are now looking at ways to maintain that strength. In the last four years, our ACS group has transformed from a group of fewer than ten to an organization of over thirty active members. These student affiliates plan several community events throughout the year and hosted the undergraduate portion of the Midwest Regional ACS meeting in October of 2006. Where will we go from here?
