Atypon has been tracking user behavior and experimenting with various algorithms since July 2005 and deployed the first implementation in July 2006 and a full implementation in late 2006. We have gathered ample data on the usefulness of such a feature specifically for scientific publications and how it can be best utilized in conjunction with other discovery mechanisms such as search. |
