Student attitudes about chemistry are rarely formally addressed in the undergraduate college chemistry classroom. Though research has been done to investigate the relationship between student attitudes and achievement, less time has been spent looking at the association between student chemistry attitudes or other non-cognitive variables and students' chemistry study habits. This study examines this relationship in first year undergraduate chemistry students using attitude and study habit questionnaires. Results from this investigation are to be presented.
