| Practicing problems is key in learning organic chemistry. Assigned homework helps to reinforce concepts. The author's organic chemistry text comes with a solution manual to all problems in the text. This makes assigning problems in the back of chapters useful only to a point. On-line homework provides students with problems that they have to solve prior to seeing the correct answer. This helps to the student realize their strenghts and the material they need to review. on-line homework may have several applications. How the author uses ACE organic on-line homework in the sophomore level two semester organic chemistry course will be discussed. |
