The construction of IMMEX problems focused on both the first and second semester organic chemistry setting is discussed. The problems are both html and flash based, and their objectives, construction, and preliminary outcome is presented. The first semester of organic chemistry focuses on three problematic subjects which pertain to conformational, configurational, and reaction based problems. The second semester based problems focus on more advanced reactions, tying in the use of spectroscopy. This project is funded by the National Science Foundation (DUE 0512526).
