Undergraduate organic laboratory: Summary of current practices

Results of a survey from a range of institutions, both public and private, to document current practices in the undergraduate organic laboratory will be presented. Data collected include prerequisites for Organic I, placement in the curriculum, number of laboratory sections per semester, laboratory enrollment per section, multi-week experiments, instrumentation introduced, grading criteria, laboratory texts used, laboratory fees, and waste disposal.
