How IRT and post test interviews have impacted our teaching

Based upon our IRT analysis of general chemistry assessments and post test interviews, we have learned some topics which topics in general chemistry are particularly troublesome for our students. Based upon that information we have begun to adjust our teaching to address these issues. The impact of those changes on our students' abilities will be shown and discussed.
