| As departments increasingly look for externally validated assessments for their programs, the ACS Exams Institute has long served as a resource. Many departments use data from ACS Exams as part of their process. As interest in this form of assessment has grown, the Exams Institute has engaged in development of new materials and methodologies that can help departments further in the programmatic assessment plans. In particular, a new end of curriculum test called the Diagnostic of Undergraduate Chemistry Knowledge (DUCK)is currently under development and will serve as an "exit exam" style assessment. |
