Nanoscience and technology studies as an undergraduate minor

The University of South Carolina is a leader in social implications and public engagement research in nanotechnology. It is implementing an undergraduate minor/cognate in "Nanoscience and Technology Studies" and received a NSF NUE grant to do so. This presentation by the grant's PI will examine some of challenges and opportunities that surfaced in implementing components of this project. This project involves dozens of faculty members and between 2,500 and 3,000 undergraduate students each academic semester.
