| Truman Schwartz has been a long-standing advocate for scientific literacy and it is fitting for him to be honored by the Pimental Award. This presentation will consider aspects of scientific literacy, including chemical literacy. Examples of science illiteracy (or nonliteracy) will be given, as well as selected criteria for scientific literacy. |
