Incorporation of POGIL into the organic lecture at Arkansas State University

The difficulties and successes of incorporation of the POGIL methodology into the organic chemistry lecture sequence at Arkansas State University will be presented. Results comparing the first semester of a POGIL-based organic lecture against a traditional lecture will be discussed. The results of incorporation of POGIL into the second semester up to the time of the presentation will also be offered with a comparison to a traditional lecture.
