Engaging students in research beginning their freshman year and culminating with a senior showcase, is one unique component of the program. Our senior showcases highlight through poster and oral presentations the research activities of those in our University Honors Program. Giving students the opportunity to do masters quality research beginning as early as their freshman year has provided dividends for all involved in the program. Our research activities have resulted in a publication rates higher than the national average. Manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed journals are no longer for just recently anointed alumnae and graduating members of the department.
