| Unlike traditional MQ-type resins prepared by hydrolytic co-condensation process the subject of discussion in this paper is another synthetic approach to the polymers of MQ-combination. The new approach based on hyperbranched polyethoxysiloxanes and their polycyclic derivatives - molecular silicasoles might have the same ratio of M and Q units but sharply differ from MQ-resins. The main difference connected with molecular structure organization. The new structures start with formation of the initial inorganic core hyperbranched or nano-gel structure with following substitution of the remaining ethoxy groups to organosiloxy- groups. Taking into account the area of potential application of new polymers – molecular nano-fillers the key point for the chemical approach elaboration was possibility to regulate parameters of molecular structure. It means the regulation of size and functionality of new molecular forms of MQ material of core-shell structure. Three different approaches to solve the mentioned above key problem will be discussed in presentation. |
