One aliphatic dimethacrylate was synthesized. The kinetics and mechanical properties were performed. The results showed that, copolymerization kinetics of EPCDMA/TEGDMA (70/30 wt%) was greatly affected by the concentration and the type of the initiator systems. Samples initiated by TPO showed the highest rate of polymerization and final double bond conversion. When compared with conventional aromatic dimethacrylate oligomer, BisGMA, EPCDMA/TEGDMA (70/30 wt%) showed higher storage modulus under the same curing condition.
