Hurricanes Katrina and Rita wreaked havoc on the Gulf Coast states in August-September 2005. Mr. Garrett Brisbee is with the Palo Alto Research Center (formerly XEROX PARC). He volunteers with a variety of non-profit organizations. Garrett has been involved with the Red Cross for many years. After seeing the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina, Garrett volunteered to go to Louisiana to help. He arrived a few days after Hurricane Rita hit. With all the publicity of the government response, see a first-hand account of what Garrett did in Louisiana and see his photos with the incredible stories behind them. Hear what the hurricane victims had to say how the responders responded to the changing scenarios of the continuing crisis and what lessons may be learned.
