A series of shape-memory polyurethanes PCU was prepared from polycarbonate diol (PCDL) 2000, trimethylol propane (TMP), and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). The grass transition temperature of PCU networks increased with increasing the hard segments. Mechanical properties and shape-memory effects were determined by using tensile tester. Values for Rf were found to be higher than 95% for all cycles, while Values for Rr varied significantly between the first and the second cycle due to flow of amorphous chain segments, plastic deformation of hard segments and relaxation effects.
