Homogeneous gaseous chemical kinetics measurements of the rate of difluoromethane, HFC-32, reacting with hydroxyl radicals was made in the range -5 C to 135 C. The method used was a relative method in which the rate of HFC-32 was measured relative to the rate of 1,1-difluoroethane, HFC-152a, whose rate has been well-established. These results were compared to those obtained by other investigators to better establish the best recommended values for the Arrhenius parameters for HFC-32.
