The ACS Division of Chemical Education (DivCHED) is a warm and exciting community of people who care about chemical education. It provides many opportunities for high school chemistry teachers to learn and grow, and to help others do the same. Our website at http://www.divched.org lists many of these opportunities. But we can do better. What changes do we need to make in DivCHED to meet the changing needs and interests of today's high school chemistry teachers? This interactive presentation will focus on DivCHED programs for high school teachers and the different roles that teachers play within the division. It will also solicit input on ways the division can help high school teachers better teach chemistry.
