| The catalytic activity of gold nanoclusters is a vigorous area in current research. We have examined the size-related effects of the binding of small organics which serve as models for the functional groups of molecules of biological interest. Discussion of these effects and their implications for small-molecule transformations and possible biological activity are presented. |
