When developing and presenting the typical undergraduate Chemistry majors' curriculum we spend a great deal of time, thought and energy making certain that our course material is current. We also involve our students in research whenever possible. That provides the beginnings of an undergraduates' appreciation of the subject. However, how often do we poll the employers of our undergraduates to see how satisfied they are with the students we supply? This paper will present the results of polls of employers, and will detail an approach to the inclusion of a serious treatment of safety into the undergraduate curriculum.
