| “Do you know the way to Fortnum & Mason*, grocer extraordinaire?” Who'd have thought that asking for directions could bring such joy in one's holiday, and life. However, this is how I met Doris Kolb on a vacation in England. In this talk, I will describe my personal friendship with Doris. She was a fireball and a great inspiration, and not just in Chemistry, about which I know nothing.
