| Doris Kolb was well known in the circles of chemical education, where her chosen vocation allowed her to combine her love of chemistry with her love of teaching. She was less well known for one of her other great loves, poetry. From a young age, she had an innate love of words and wordplay and was a life long writer of poetry and verse. I will examine this remarkable woman, my mother, through the body of work which she left us. |
