| Two different strategies of the fluorocontaing derivatives of hyperbranched polyallycarbosilane polymers were discussed in the presentation. The one step strategy based on specially designed modifiers showed excellent results and full conversion of the allylic groups in case of aliphatic modifier based on tris(Y-trifluoropropyl)dimethyldisiloxane. Two step approach with consequently hydrosilylation with dimethylchlorosilane and tris(Y-trifluoropropyl)sodium silanolate treatment was accompanied with side reaction of siloxane bond cleavage. For the comparison of F-modifier structure influence pentafluorobenzyldimethylsilane was synthesized and used for the same initial matrix modification. The parallel two steps approach was performed in this case as well. The hydrosilylation with F-aromatic modifier was much slower, but full conversion was also achievable. Thus, two different samples of fluorocontaining hyperbranched polycarbosilane were isolated and used for their properties investigation and comparison with corresponding regular dendrimers in course of their solubility in organic solvents and sc carbon dioxide. |
