The use of commercial aliphatic hyperbranched polyesters as a processing additive for poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) was investigated. The rheological behavior and tensile strength of the PVC composites were also studied. The results show that different generations aliphatic hyperbranched polyesters have different plasticizing effects. The plasticizing time of PVC composites with H30 is much less than that of PVC composites with H20 and H40. Increasing the concentration of hyperbranched polyesters, the plasticizing time decreased greatly. The PVC composites with H30 have better tensile properties than those of the PVC composites with H20 and H40.
