An effective methodology for the solution-phase synthesis of fatty acid derivatives of aminosugar library: Development of coupling-purification conditions for parallel reactions

Synthesis of amino sugar derivatives are of great interest because amino sugar containing fatty acids found in the lipopolysaccharides of some of the microorganisms. These molecules are found to be key role in biological application. Here in, we wish to report a simple methodology for the coupling reaction between amino sugar and fatty acids in good to moderate yield. The advantage of this methodology provides the synthesis of large number compounds efficiently through parallel reactions and also it avoids work-up procedure and chromatographic separation.
