This presentation describes a unique chemical process system called the Spinning-Tube-in-Tube, or STT™, which represents a paradigm shift away from the traditional approach to the processing of materials. The patented STT™ process system is a paradigm leap from volume-based to an area-based technology. All chemistry is performed in the boundary layer. Advantages such as mass transfer, heat transfer, shear, phase interaction, and size will be discussed. These advantages result in major environmental, economic, and social benefits. Comparison to other technologies will be cited as well as recent applications. The surprise effect of the system on kinetics will be explained.
